After a series of iPhones and iPads with several versions of iOS, now Apple is launching iOS 7 at the end of this year at WWDC. Although Apple has not launched or announced it officially and iOS 7 news is being wrapped by launch of iPhone 5S but there are several concept videos of iOS7 out. Although there is no specific feature list of iOs 7 out in the market but still one can expect a better Do not Disturb, a new notification center, a better lock screen and access to settings and a vastly improved app switcher in iOS7.
Apple will make this announcement mostly at WWDC 2013 this summer. Also developers can expect a short private beta to test apps and build-in support for new features. Following features are expected in iOS7:
Smarter DND (Do Not Disturb):
This feature introduced with iOS6 is considered the best concept in that version and is a better way for users to turn on Do not Disturb and Apple delivers them notifications later. The notifications slides in place of the clock at the top of the iPhone in iOS7 instead of the banner notification system used earlier. Also Apple will turn off the sounds and vibrations from notifications too. Also it will be much easier to turn on Do not Disturb in iOS7.
Improved lock screen and Settings:
The new lock screen in iOS7 allows users to have fast access to common settings and also is accompanied with some cool music. Also there is a new app switcher that puts the apps full screen and access to the settings just with a double tap of the home button and a swipe.
Better App Switcher:
The coolest feature of iOS7 that can be installed on a jailbroken iOS6 is the app switcher which is available on Cydia for other devices. The auxo app switcher is a card type app switcher that shows part of the app on-screen which looks like a card and it sits in a large app drawer . It also has a playback tab and fast access to settings.
Better Notification Center
iOS7 has grouped notifications concept and the ability to swipe through information with widgets.
