However, Cydia – a well known independent third-party digital distribution platform for software on jailbroken iOS device – has brought a new jailbreak tweak called TapVolumeToMute that promises to help these iDevice owners out.
According to JailbreakNation website, TapVolumeToMute jailbreak tweak lets users to easily and quickly enable Silent Mode on their iDevices without any need to access to a side switch.
Once a user downloads and installs TapVolumeToMute, the jailbroken tweak can quite literally tap the volume icon, which comes into play when the physical volume keys are pressed, to mute/silent the iDevice completely.
Being a handy tweak, TapVolumeToMute is being particularly cherished by owners of jailbreaken iDevices that do not have a dedicated mute switch. Interested people can download the new jailbreak tweak from the Cydia Store for free of cost.
